Congratulations to Tamika Madison on winning a Safford Award for Excellence as a Graduate Student Teacher!
Tamika has taught numerous classes on the undergraduate level, including general chemistry, organic chemistry, and introductory chemistry. She continues to teach at present and succeeds in demonstrating teaching excellence on a daily basis.
Alexandra McSorley ’10, received a Mary Louise Theodore award from the University of Pittsburgh chemistry department. The award is given in memory of Mary Theodore, a noted analytical chemist and educator to chemistry majors who have excelled academically and been involved in our undergraduate program through such things as research, teaching and volunteer service.
