This class, covers an introduction to inorganic chemistry, including symmetry, molecular orbital theory, bonding, solid state chemistry, hard-soft acid/base interactions, and a survey of transition metal and organometallic chemistry.

This course covers molecular symmetry, including group theory, 3D point groups, molecular vibrations, vibrational spectroscopy, molecular orbitals and electronic spectroscopy — all from the perspective of symmetry.
